Sector Based Work Academy with Glenelg

Our Sector Based Work Academy with support work company Glenelg is now well underway and learners are preparing for their big interviews with the employer. As part of their course, attendees have been completing training on a wide range of topics, including, employability, mental health and food safety.

The aim is to provide our learners with the skills they need to excel in a support work role and to provide Glenelg with skilled employees that can hit the ground running from their first day of employment. To minimise the risk posed by the Covid-19 outbreak, learning has been taking place from home with Lisa, our tutor, providing one-to-one advice via email, teams and Zoom.
